Merger with Morrissey Clarke Solicitors

Partners at Law LLP are delighted to announce that the firm of Morrissey Clarke Solicitors, merged with us on the 4 June 2024.

 

Philip Clarke has joined us as a solicitor.

 

We confirm that all Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Title Deeds, previously held at Morrissey Clarke, are now held by Partners at Law.

Closure of Murphy's Solicitors

The practice of Murphy’s Solicitors has recently closed and ceased practising following the retirement of Stan Murphy. We have agreed to assist with the cessation.

  • Is PALS a succeeding practice?
    No. PALS is not a succeeding practice. PALS is not liable for any outstanding undertakings or potential claims arising from work carried by Murphy’s Solicitors.
  • Did my ongoing matter automatically pass to PALS?
    No. We have agreed to assist with the cessation of Murphy’s Solicitors and to review all current files with a view to potentially taking them over and completing the matter. All existing Murphys clients have been given the option of taking their file elsewhere.
  • Did my Will / Title Deeds / EPA pass to PALS?
    Yes. We have agreed to store all of the Title Deeds, Wills and EPAs unless specifically requested otherwise by the client.
  • Am I entitled to take my Will / Title Deeds / EPA from PALS?
